I think I've been here once a week for a year just about. Really great staff, I've never had a single issue for over 30 visits. Consistently amazing! Mrs. Jean The restaurant appears attractive with booths along the wall and tables in the center. The tables are bare, painted black. Chopsticks are provided, but only one fork per person is provided, and one paper napkin. No tea is offered or served, it must be ordered as an extra. Server rushed us through ordering process although place was not crowded; she was very difficult to communicate with because she spoke limited English. I ordered the New York Strip steak with shrimp, assuming it would be a whole steak as i have received in other Japanese restaurants. What was put in front of me, not very graciously, was a plate of attractive food with cut up beef that had been marinated in a LOT of soy, tenderizer, and other unknown ingredients, mixed into a heap of veggies along with the shrimp for which I paid extra. The fried rice was INEDIBLE--TERRIBLE FLAVOR. My grandson loves sushi, which is why we went there, and he enjoyed his sushi dinner. Tim Kingas I just left from eating the all you can eat lunch special. The food was good. When it's went to check out there was an additional $3 charge for unfinished food. I asked what this was and it was explained. I told the waitress that someone should explain this when ordering as I was not aware. She was quite rude and told me I could have read it in the menu. I told her I didn't believe this was right and that I would not be back if this is how you treat your customers. She did not offer any appology or say a word. I am very disappointed as I've been coming there for quite some time for pick up. I am not wasteful and did ask for a smaller portion of 4 and was brought 8 pieces anyway.
